Short Term Accommodation also known as STA or respite
If you have been funded for Accommodation STA in your plan, we can help you to organise your short term stay in a place that suits you. Some people just want to get away from it all and stay somewhere nice and quiet such as a lovely bush setting. Others may like to go to the beach or have something else in mind. Whatever you have in mind, we will try our best to accommodate you.
Due to meeting individual needs, planning is required so please leave enough time so we can plan the best STA possible.
Why does the NDIS fund STA and what’s included?
- To allow parents and carers to have a break/respite
- Plans can be funded for up to 28 days per year of STArespite
- STA includes accommodation, food, 24/7 care and some activities
